- The Story of Randy Hanks (10:42) -- Once upon a time, Tom Hanks had a brother. And a wife. And a gun. For recording nerds, this was recorded using the M/S stereo recording technique.

- Awnings for Eyelids - Jack Straw Dark Horses (29:50) -- In January 2004, Awnings for Eyelids spent two days at Jack Straw Productions in Seattle recording an album. A lot of music was recorded, but not everything made the cut, but here are the cream of the leftovers from those sessions. A little rough in some spots, but we think they're pretty good. Chris Mueller sits in on drums on a couple of these.

- At the Movies -- The Lens Trade (13:59) -- JE composed and recorded the score for a film short entitled The Lens Trade. As part of the 48 Hour Film Festival, JE had less than 48 hours to accomplish this. While the film runs only 4 minutes, there was plenty of material recorded.

- The Prototype (27:11) -- Recorded in 1996, remastered in 2004, and re-remastered again just last night, The Prototype was Jonathan's first successful attempt at creating an album length suite of songs. This was recorded almost in entirely in a basement cum bedroom in Belchertown, MA.

- Knock Yourself Out -- Recorded on tour with The Crispin Glover. This song was written by Jon Brion and used in I Heart Huckabees. Jon was very much the inspiration behind The Crispin Glover. This version was recorded on stage at The Starlight Theater in Fort Collins, CO, on Valentine's Day 2005.
- Day and a Half -- Here's a little bit more of Day and a Half than what appears on the SFTT. This song was inspired by and is dedicated to the gentleman busking daily in the Court House Metro station.

- Swiss Family Robinson -- A track from very early during the Scenes from Tiny Town sessions that unfortunately found it's way to the Tiny Town floor when it came time to mix and sequence the album. This was inspired by an ornery landowner in Washington, DC.
- Gainstown -- An early experiment during pre-production for the next JE release. The Thumb Synthesizer is featured prominently throughout.
